Maharashtra Council of Agricultural Education and Research has decided to conduct entrance exam MCAER Admission 2018-19 for agriculture courses. Earlier, admissions were conducted based on Class XII marks, but this year, the MCAER will also ask for scores of the Maharashtra Technical Common Entrance Test (MHT CET), the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) or the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE). The students who are willing to take admission in the agriculture courses have to go through entrance exam for MCAER Admission 2018-19.
Now the candidates who want to take admission in the MCAER have to appear in the exam along with the Class 12th marks.

- Now the Maharashtra Council of Agricultural Education and Research has announced that the agriculture courses admission will be done on the basis entrance exam.
- The scores of Maharashtra Technical Common Entrance Test (MHT CET), the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) or the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) will also be asked for admission.
- Candidates can apply with the scores of any one of these entrance tests, whichever they have scored the highest in.
Officials said that bachelor’s degree in agricultural engineering, horticulture, forestry, biotechnology, home or community science, food technology, sericulture, food nutrition and dietetics and agriculture will be treated on a par with other professional courses, such as engineering and medicine.
