The central government is going to provide health insurance to the people who belong to BPL family under Ayushman Bharat Yojana. To take the benefit of this scheme the government has started to identified beneficiaries of PM Jan Arogya Yojana. Now the government is going to distribute Ayushman Bharat golden card to take the benefit of this scheme.
Ayushman Bharat Yojana
Recently the state government of Uttar Pradesh has started to distribute golden cards for Ayushman Bharat Yojana in Shamli. District Magistrate Indra Vikram Singh launched the scheme in Shamli and golden cards were distributed to some beneficiaries of PM Jan Arogya Yojana. 1350 diseases including cancer, cardiovascular disease can be treated under Ayushman Bharat Yojana 2018.
The beneficiaries of this scheme will be provided golden cards which will be helpful to take the benefit of this scheme. The people will be able to take golden cards by providing their Aadhar card.
Ayushman Bharat Golden Cards
Under this health scheme the golden cards will be distributed which will be helpful in taking the benefit of this scheme. This scheme will benefit around 1.18 crore poor families under Ayushman Bharat Yojana. Each family whose name appears in SECC-2011 data will get Rs. 5 lakh Insurance cover under the flagship Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY). In Uttar Pradesh, govt. will also provide Golden Cards to PM Jan Arogya Yojana Beneficiaries.
On 25th September, after the Nationwide launch of Ayushman Bharat – Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY), it is expected that around 1000 medical centres will join UP PMJAY Scheme. All the UP PMJAY Rural & Urban beneficiaries will be issued Golden Card. To successfully implement UP PMJAY Health Insurance Scheme across the state, the state has been divided into 4 zones.
