State Government of Gujarat launched an ambitious scheme as named Rooftop Solar Plant Scheme to provide solar rooftop plant at subsidy. Application form has been invited for this scheme while 1500 application form had been submitted under the scheme. Main objective of the scheme is encourage people to choose green energy.

Govt. has also started a campaign as named Gujarat & Solar Energy Mission which target is generating 1 Lakh MW grid connected solar power till 2022. To recall you, Gujarat Sarkar has given 8,024 MW grid connected power. Annual Range of Installation is 5.82kW/M2 per day. To more details you can visit at official website geda.gujarat.gov.in

People can apply for this scheme to get rooftop connection through Gujarat Energy Development Agency (GEDA). For that govt. would provide a fix amount in their accounts.
State govt. had made a special provision in the budget to earmarked 35 Crore which will cover 20,000 beneficiaries for the year 2017-18.

How many Cost to Install Residential Rooftop Solar Plant

The cost comes around Rs. 69,000 to install solar power plant.

How many subsidy will get to Install Solar Plant

Govt. will give Rs. 20,700 on one rooftop solar panel plant (1KW) installation.
As well as, centre increased assistance Rs. 10,000 per KW along with 20,000 maximum amount for per beneficiary.
